This is the first release of an entry-level blend of Bordeaux varieties that maintains the usual high Squawking Magpie standards. Unlike many entry-level wines, this has good cellaring potential. Dense Gimblett Gravels red with cassis, dark berry, dark chocolate, liquorice and blueberry. A youthful, vigorous, high-energy wine that offers a mouthful of flavour and a firm structure.
