Deep crimson. Fresh inky dark plum, black pepper, cedar, bitter chocolate aromas. Vigorous, muscular and concentrated with deep set blackberry, dark plum, paneforted peppery flavours, fine bitter sweet/cherry tannins and plentiful roasted nut, cedar oak complexity. Finishes cedary sappy firm with plentiful dark fruit and peppery nuances. Elemental, highly individual and damanding wine that needs time to settle and fold together. Impressive wine that promises more to come.
